Companies looking for new products
Ethnic products have achieved a good presence in the overseas
market, driven largely by the compatriots abroad, one of the most
representative is the United States.
In that sense, a company based in California, USA, held a meeting with local exporters, in the interest of making new products that can be integrated into this value chain in sales.
The company, driven by Salvadorans living abroad, was established as La Tiendona, which has been given the task of finding these new products.
Silvia Cuellar, director of the Corporation of Exporters of El Salvador, said that this is one of the main support for small and medium businesses looking to break into the shipment of these products.
In the match between domestic exporters are presented products such as honey, Jamaican wine, coffee, derived from corn, quesadillas, sweet tied, horchata, pickles, crafts, among others.
Nostalgic products consist of goods and services that are part of the habits, culture and traditions of different peoples and nations.
People migrating abroad usually miss these products, which are difficult to obtain in the new regions where they live, but outside consume both domestic and other groups interested in these products.
